Meet Jil.

A portrait of Jil, the Learnshop Lab director
FIG. 06THE DIRECTOR

Jil's Learnshop Labs began with a stack of crumpled printer paper, three crayons, and one stubborn idea: tiny kids deserve tiny experiments. Not flashcards. Not screens. Pages they can scribble on, fold, and tape to the fridge.

Every workbook is built around the Learnshop Method — Observe → Question → Discover → Build. We start with something a 4-year-old can hold in their hand, and end with something they made themselves.

FIELD NOTE 01

"Children aren't empty cups to fill. They're scientists with sticky fingers."

Right now the lab ships 50+ new activity sheets and workbooks every week, across five age bands and six subject areas. Some are free. Some are paid. All of them are designed to be printed, scribbled on, and survived by.
